What is this exactly?

Completely new to tabletop games?

If you’re planning on coming to Tabletop Scotland 2025 and this hobby is completely new to you, then be assured that we will look after you. We have dedicated zones within the convention specifically for those looking to explore the hobby and help introduce you to the world of tabletop games.

First time at Tabletop Scotland?

If you’ve never been to a tabletop games convention before but you’re familiar with board games, card games and roleplaying games then you will be able to find those in abundance at Tabletop Scotland, along with lots of people to play them with.

Conventions like Tabletop Scotland are a celebration of all things tabletop, we provide the space and opportunity for you to play games all weekend. Whether that’s games you already know, games you’ve been considering buying or games that are completely new to you.

We provide space and access to demo teams from publishers for you to try out their games, events galore, exhibitors showcasing the range of products that this hobby has to tempt you with, and a games library for you to borrow games from so that you can try before you buy.

That’s what Tabletop Scotland is like.

    Other Questions

    Charity Partnership

Since our first event in 2018 we have raised over £18,500 for charity.

If you include two AlbaCon online roleplaying game events hosted by members of the team during the COVID-19 pandemic, this brings our total to almost £25,000.

Raising money for charity is very important to us, and we love that your support makes it possible.

    2025 Charity Partner: Waverley Care

Waverley Care is Scotland’s leading HIV and Hepatitis C charity.

As always, we will be donating a percentage of all monies raised via the Bring & Buy to our charity partner.

Alongside that we will be working with the charity to get them involved at the convention and will be looking to host a ‘tombola’ at their stand.
