Love Board, Card Miniature or Social Games? Why not host some games for us!

Tabletop Scotland has hosted board, card, miniature and social gaming events every year and 2025 is no different.

So if you want to see an event happen at the convention, either encourage others to organise it or do it yourself!

These are not multiple sessions of a specific game but are scheduled events, like tournaments, for a minimum of 8 players.

So you want to run an event at Tabletop Scotland?

If you have never hosted an event at a convention before, there are a few things to keep in mind.

  1. We provide the space and furniture required for you to host the event.
  2. Events for board, card, and miniature games are all sharing space with other events. So we might not be able to host the event when you want to. We will make every effort to fit you in though!
  3. For Social games, like Blood On The Clocktower, we have ‘Floor Game’ space allocated in the hall. This is shared with other events and is not dedicated to you unless otherwise agreed or as per a published event schedule.
  4. For Miniature games note that this means that Tabletop Scotland will not provide terrain or playmats unless by prior agreement
  5. Minimum player count of 8 is required for an event to go ahead. If an event does not achieve this level of sign up, we may cancel the event to create space for others.
  6. All events will carry a ticket price for participation in them, unless agreed otherwise with the convention team.

So, what's in it for me?

We reward event hosts based on the number of hours their event runs for.

  • Time commitment of 3.5+ hours between Friday 12pm and Sunday 6pm.
This gives you free access to the convention for the One Day of your event, and you will be provided with One Tabletop Scotland Blue t-shirt.

  • Time commitment of 7+ hours between Friday 12pm and Sunday 6pm.
This gives you free access to the convention for all Three Days, and you will be provided with One Tabletop Scotland Blue t-shirt.

  • Time commitment of 12+ hours between Friday 12pm and Sunday 6pm.
This gives you free access to the convention for all Three Days, and you will be provided with Two Tabletop Scotland Blue t-shirts.

If your event is added to our schedule, the organisers of the event will be given a Blue Tabletop Scotland t-shirt. If multiple organisers then multiple t-shirts may be given depending on format of the event.
