Love Dungeons & Dragons? Join our DM team!
Since 2018, Tabletop Scotland has run more tables of Dungeons & Dragons than any other UK convention. A big part of this is due to our decision to use Adventurers League content as the foundation of our schedule.
Every year at Tabletop Scotland we host a lot of Dungeons & Dragons Adventurers League events, including special multi-table Epics. In 2025 we will be hosting adventures written by some of the team involved in organising the schedule over the years!
If you are up for helping us host one of the largest schedules of D&D Adventurers League at an in-person convention, please fill out the form below.

What is Adventurers League?
The D&D Adventurers League (D&D AL) is an ‘organised play’ system managed by the publishers of D&D. This style of play enables players to play in shared series of adventures whether they are playing at home, in game stores, or at conventions. Your characters can take part in Adventurers League games across the world.
Players can start at either 1st Level (Tier 1) or 5th Level (Tier 2) by following the guidelines on the D&D AL website, click on the image to go there. We will have pre-generated character for players to use, and we will teach the rules too!
What is a multi-table Epic exactly?
D&D Epics are specific events for the D&D Adventurers League. These are adventures where multiple tables all play the same adventure simultaneously, with everyone working to achieve an epic goal. Situations that arise on one table can cause effects on those playing at other tables. Tabletop Scotland have hosted Epics every year and they are extremely popular.
What is version of the rules does D&D AL use?
By the time that Tabletop Scotland happens, 2024 versions of the core rules will be available, and as a result all of the D&D Adventurers League sessions that we host will use those rulebooks.
So, what's in it for me?
We reward DMs based on the number of ‘slots’ they host games in.
- One Slot – Time commitment of 3.5+ hours between Friday 12pm and Sunday 6pm.
This gives you free access to the convention for the One Day of your event, and One Tabletop Scotland Blue t-shirt. - Two Slots – Time commitment of 7+ hours between Friday 12pm and Sunday 6pm.
This gives you free access to the convention for all Three Days, and One Tabletop Scotland Blue t-shirt. - Three (or more) Slots – Time commitment of 10.5+ hours between Friday 12pm and Sunday 6pm.
This gives you free access to the convention for all Three Days, and Two Tabletop Scotland Blue t-shirts.
Regardless how many slots you run, we pay for and provide you the adventure to run at the convention. You just need to prep it and host it based on the schedule!
Wait, what about this new content written by the team?
We have been chosen by Wizards of the Coast to be what’s called a Premier Organiser. This enables us to write and publish content in a region of the Forgotten Realms that we ‘own’. Our region is Murghôm, and some of the adventures available to play at the convention will be set there. We are doing this under the name of “Polyhedral Adventures”.
