Scenario Description: Several days ago your adventuring company sold the Eye of Draesh-Mingonaal for a small fortune and since then you’ve made a valiant effort to carouse through every tavern and drink the city of Garnak-Vel dry. Wincing as the afternoon sun lances your eyes, you notice that Jarak is missing, and you hazily recall he wasn’t with you last night either.

Did the idiot pick one fight too many at last? Or maybe his liver just exploded? Maybe you should go look for him soon, or maybe just sleep a little longer on this comfy dirt floor?

This short investigative adventure scenario introduces players to Runesword RPG, an indie fantasy game produced in Edinburgh by designer Greig Watson.

Inspired by classic fantasy tales, the game evokes the spirit of Fritz Leiber’s Fafhrd & the Grey Mouser, Michael Moorcock’s Elric, and Robert E Howard’s Conan.

Rules light, fast-paced, and easy to learn, Runesword RPG pitches players straight into a gritty world of swords & sorcery!

Content Warning: There may be elements of violence, torture, murder and definitely alcohol poisoning…

Pre-Generated Characters: Yes
