What services are available at the convention?
We offer a variety of services for people to use when at the convention, find out more about each below.
Bring & Buy
The Bring & Buy is a second hand marketplace for attendees to move on games and tabletop accessories that they no longer want to keep, and for other attendees to pick up games that may be out of print.
The Bring & Buy is a Cash Only service, and a percentage of all revenue made is given to our charity partner.
We will have more to share on this nearer the convention.
Games Library
A games library is exactly what it sounds like. Shelves of games that you can borrow during the following opening hours.
• Friday: 12:00 – 22:00
• Saturday: 09:00 – 22:00
• Sunday: 09:00 – 17:00
We will have more to share on this nearer the convention.
Playtest Zone
Each year at Tabletop Scotland we have a Playtest Zone aimed at giving game designers the opportunity to bring their in-progress games to the convention so that they can get valuable feedback from our attendees.
If you are looking to bring your game to this year’s Playtest Zone, fill out the form here: https://tabletopscotland.co.uk/contact/playtest/
Gateway Zone
Are you new to board games? Unsure what to play or where to start?
Well, that’s exactly what our Gateway Zone is all about.
Our team will be teaching and demoing games throughout the convention.
Hobbycraft Zone
Our Hobbycraft Zone hosts bookable tutorials which will take you from a bare figure to a finished figure within 90 minutes. Tutorials are booked via our event schedule, this will be updated with a link once those listings are available.
As well as tutorials we will have a paint station for people to paint miniatures all weekend.
Game Jam!
What is a Game Jam?
A game jam is an organised event which allows a group of people to work as a team, or individually, to create a game within a specified time limit.
As with last year we intend to host a Game Jam during the hours of the convention. More information will be added here in due course.
