As the challenges that 2020 brought are continuing into 2021, we wanted to let you know where we are with plans for Tabletop Scotland 2021.

In short, we are planning for it to happen.

We have been in discussions with the venue, exhibitors, and others over the last few months to get a feel for what level of planning we can do.

So, with that in mind here are 3 things we wanted to make you aware of.

  1. The dates: We are going to revert to a two-day event. So that’s 21st & 22nd August 2021.
    We know this will be disappointing to many of you, but we feel this is the right thing to do.
    If you already have accommodation booked, then consider what that change means for you.

  2. Tickets: We are delaying ticket sales until Friday the 30th April 2021.

  3. Events: We are delaying event booking until Friday the 16th July 2021.

We will decide whether the convention will go ahead prior to tickets going on sale and, right now, we believe that 30th April gives us enough time to get a good feel for that.

A couple of things to consider alongside this:

  1. We want to host a “normal” Tabletop Scotland event, or as normal as we can make it. If social distancing and other related aspects reduce the likelihood of us being able to do that, then we will not host the convention.

  2. If we do cancel, then we will not be replacing it with a virtual Tabletop Scotland convention. This is something we have considered but ultimately discounted.
