Tabletop Scotland 2022 – COVID Policy

Last updated: 25/07/2022.

As we get closer to the convention, we have taken another look at the precautions and measures we will take to combat the spread of COVID.

Our COVID Policy for Tabletop Scotland 2022 has been defined using inputs from Scottish Government, NHS Scotland and Live Active Leisure, who operate our venue the Dewars Centre.

Our plan is as follows and whilst we expect this to be the final version prior to the convention, it is subject to change given what we have all learned over the last two and a bit years.

Cancellation:

All attendees and exhibitors will be refunded in full if, as the result of a change in the Scottish Government or Live Active policies relating to indoor events, we have to cancel Tabletop Scotland 2022.

Before the convention:

Whilst we are not asking for vaccination ‘passports’, nor proof of a negative test to enter Tabletop Scotland 2022.

Get vaccinated if you can.

At the convention:

We strongly recommend that all attendees including exhibitors, volunteers, and staff, wear a mask whilst at the convention.

We will work with Live Active Leisure to ensure that hand sanitising stations are available throughout the venue.

We will have a supply of disposable masks available at reception for attendees to use as required.

Cash vs Card? Whilst we will strive to be a cashless event, some services at the convention can only be accessed through using cash. These are listed below.

  • Board Game Library Deposits
  • Bring & Buy
  • Charity Prize Draw

All other payments will have card options available, although note that Exhibitors may not always be able to accept card.

Masks are strongly recommended.

After the convention:

If you have any symptoms of COVID after the convention please get tested. https://www.nhsinform.scot/illnesses-and-conditions/infections-and-poisoning/coronavirus-covid-19/test-and-protect/coronavirus-covid-19-testing
