What: Rapid Chess Tournament
Location: Event Zone EV-12
Spaces: 16 (All bookable online).
When: Saturday 10:30 to 18:00

Description: This event will be a Rapidplay chess tournament. All moves for each game must be made in a total of 25 minutes.
The tournament will be split into two sections:
- Open (open to all players)
- Minor (for players playing in their first tournament or with ELO rating below 1300)
Instructions on how to use the chess clock and some tips about tournament play will be available if you arrive for 10:30.
The tournament will star at 11am.
There will be a cost of £5 for prize support and for the results to be submitted for ELO grading with Chess Scotland.
Round times:
- Round 1: 11am
- Round 2: 11:55am
- Round 3: 1:20pm
- Round 4: 2:15pm
- Round 5: 3:10pm
