Trek to the Castle of the Robber Knight
This play session is intended as an introduction to the Dragonbane Role Playing Game by Free League. It is a co-operative, player vs environment, fantasy role playing game for 3-6 players, who will be given a quest to complete.
Dragonbane shares similar settings and themes with many other fantasy tabletop games such as D&D, Runequest and Warhammer Fantasy.. as well as party-based computer games such as Baldurs Gate 3 and World of Warcraft.
Players will take on different roles in an adventuring party and have a thrilling adventure. The session will cover key aspects of the game, such as magic, travel, social encounters, crafting and combat.
Pre-generated characters will be supplied. No previous knowledge of the game is required. An attitude to learn and have fun is encouraged.
Safety: For safe play, the X-card system will be used. In addition, the GM will supply a list of thematic “lines” that are not to be introduced into the game by either GM or the players, to which players may add. The game format makes the following themes un-avoidable: Fantasy Violence, Demons & the Occult
