Description: Join us for a hilarious, large-scale party game experience! Hosted by the fantastic Paul Grogan from Gaming Rules!, “Just A Large One” scales up the award-winning cooperative party game Just One into a chaotic, brilliant team-versus-team experience. It is fast, funny, and highly engaging, making it the perfect kick-off for your Friday night at the convention!
Players will form themselves into small teams of 3 to 5 to face off in a battle of wits and word association. Can your team provide the ultimate unique clues when under the spotlight, or will your answers get cancelled out? Grab a seat, pick up a marker, and see if your team can read the room to claim victory!
📋 How It Works & Round Structure:
• Forming Teams: Attendees group into teams of 3 to 5 players and receive a whiteboard and marker.
• Stage vs. Seats: Each round, one team heads to the front ‘stage’ as Clue Givers, while all other teams remain in their seats as Guessers.
• Writing Clues: Paul secretly shows a mystery word to the stage team. Each member secretly writes down a single one-word clue without consulting their teammates.
• Clues Are Revealed: Paul collects the stage whiteboards and removes duplicate clues entirely. Identical clues are cancelled out!
• Guessing: The remaining unique clues are shown to the room. Guessing teams work together, write their answer, and hold up their boards on Paul’s signal.
• Points: Guessing teams score 1 point for a correct answer. The stage team scores 1 point for every 4 guessing teams that get it right (rounded up). A new team takes the stage next round, and the highest score wins!
